The way a parent interacts with their children and techniques he/she uses to help the child develop mentally and emotionally is called parenting.

PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) Training for parents with special needs

 

Parents who have children with special needs require additional assistance to raise their children for them PECS is an alternative communication system developed by Andy Bondy and Lori Frost in 1985 to help children with Autism spectrum disorder to communicate using cards. It has 6 phases and need to be trained by qualified professional. It is one of the applied behavioural analysis methods, effective to develop communication skills in children in Autism spectrum disorder. 6-9years:

As we are settled down in most of the areas, stress plays major role in stabilizing in our environments. We are fully energetic and busy to notice unhealthy habits and behaviours.

13TO19YEARS: ADOLESCENCE

 

Adolescence a phase of rapid changes both physically and emotionally in simple words it’s a transition from child to adult where one is exposed to new things about self and things around them as there is drastic cognitive development.

 

The major developments in cognition at this stage are advanced reasoning skills, Abstract thinking and thinking about thinking or Meta cognition.
